Furthermore, you will promote collaboration between business and technical teams while documenting business processes and systems along with their integration. Meet Your Future Team: The Guest Services Technology team at Arc'teryx is dedicated to establishing a benchmark in the outdoor industry as leading technology partners and specialists. In collaboration with our internal partners, we design and develop guest service experiences that empower our agents to provide top-tier customer service. You will be part of a small yet impactful team that engages with multiple departments across Arc'teryx. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud application. Our structure consists of squads that include developers, administrators, quality analysts, business analysts, and product managers. We work closely and collaboratively with various teams, including Infrastructure, Marketing, Brand, Analytics, and Operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Leading the exploration of our Loyalty program by gathering requirements through effective business analysis techniques.Fostering empathy for the guest/end-user by incorporating Human-Centered Design principles and mapping guest journeys.Prioritizing a continuous flow of feature backlog in alignment with product strategy.Consulting with stakeholders and acting as a bridge between them and the development squad.Facilitating and managing stakeholder expectations and engagement.Translating business requirements into detailed and actionable specifications and documentation.Collaborating efficiently by building strong relationships with various cross-functional teams within the technology department and across the business.Creating clear visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models to diverse audiences.Documenting comprehensive user stories, process flows, systems diagrams, and acceptance criteria for business process reviews, systems architecture, web development, quality assurance, and change management.Working with stakeholders and the development squad to plan, groom, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure focus on features that align with business priorities.Organizing and facilitating user acceptance testing with business users.Supporting the testing and validation of system changes to ensure they meet business requirements and achieve desired user outcomes.Identifying and documenting current and future business processes, changes, and improvements to facilitate effective change management.Maintaining process and system documentation as business and systems evolve.

Future Opportunities:

Developing, updating, and sharing your extensive knowledge on business areas and technologies relevant to the Business Analysts chapter and Agile squads.Preparing and coordinating system changes for releases, leading product demo sessions, and organizing user training on Agile methodologies.Consulting with Digital Marketing business teams regarding vendor selection and future technologies.Assisting the Technology leadership team with various tasks and projects as needed.

Are You Our Next Business Analyst?

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in Agile projects related to e-commerce, retail, and omni-channel.Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a dynamic, iterative development environment. You must be able to quickly absorb new information, adapt existing knowledge, and thrive in a changing environment to ensure successful project delivery.Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, articulating and documenting concepts, business processes, systems, and requirements efficiently.Detail-oriented with excellent organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple competing priorities.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. You enjoy delving into details and understanding the "how" and "why".Able to work independently, taking initiative to drive projects forward. You seek optimal solutions, with a commitment to doing what is right.Curious and eager to learn, thoroughly investigating every problem until you uncover what truly matters.Your passion for your work is matched by your enthusiasm for outdoor activities.Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), customer data analytics, and their interactions would be strong assets.Experience with loyalty programs would be a strong asset.Proven track record of working with teams that have developed and launched loyalty products and features that resonate with customers would be an asset.Experience in the (Outdoor) Apparel or Retail industry would be an asset.Experience with web development would be an asset.Experience with new vendor integrations would be an asset.
