Project Manager - Systems

Carmeuse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Systems projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing projects according to scope, schedule, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Develop and execute project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Communicate project expectations and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, costs, and revenue forecasts to ensure project profitability.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the mining and industrial industry.
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering or a technical science (Mechanical, Industrial, or Process engineering preferred).
  • Language: Fluency in spoken and written English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Skills: Strong commercial understanding of engineering contracts and project management, analytical and detailed-oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to inspire and motivate teams, and strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
Work Environment
  • Hours: 37.5 hour work weeks, with additional hours required as needed.
  • Travel: Travel is required for this role.
