We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Conserve It Renovations Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of skilled tradespeople, including bricklayers, cement finishers, glaziers, and labourers.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Project Management
- Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on project progress and any issues that may arise.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate any potential hazards.
- Training and Development
- Oversee the training and development of apprentices and other team members.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs to address these needs.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and respect.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and will be exposed to noise, heights, and dust.
Work SettingThe role will involve working on a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial sites.
Transportation/Travel InformationThe successful candidate will be required to travel to various job sites, and may be required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and will be exposed to physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting.
