Job Title: Automotive Detailer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of vehicles are clean and presentable for customers. This includes washing, cleaning, polishing, and performing general upkeep on new and previously owned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general vehicle detailing activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, washing, and waxing using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
  • Clean vehicles' interiors, including upholstery, applying leather and vinyl revitalizing products, removing and cleaning floor mats, and applying stain guard.
  • Buff vehicles' exteriors with non-abrasive products and wet sand to achieve a high-gloss finish.
  • Clean engines and engine compartments using pressurized cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
  • Mix cleaning solutions and apply touch-up paint to minor disfigurations on vehicles' body surfaces.
  • Remove scratches and clean and polish wheels and rims.
  • Notify supervisors of any vehicle parts that require repair or replacement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Good judgment and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Manual transmission driving experience.
