About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Botros Kodi Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the work site by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assistance with Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Site Cleanup: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available to start work as soon as possible.
  • Legal Status: Be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Be willing to relocate for this position.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
