Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our clients and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Auditing: Maintain and monitor standard cost systems, supervise monthly close activities, and prepare and oversee the preparation of income and balance sheet statements.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze and reconcile financial information and general ledger accounts, and provide financial support to internal managers.
- Leadership and Management: Train, conduct evaluations, and manage the productivity of employees, and approve AP invoices and P-card transactions and customer account credits.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory costs and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: CPA designation or at the final stages.
- Experience: At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Language: Must be bilingual in French and English - both written and spoken.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
