Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Yafa Cafe Arabic Street Food Inc. as a key member of our coffee shop staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and flatware are washed and sanitized.
    • Keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean and organized.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages.
    • Portion and wrap food items for take-out and service.
    • Prepare and heat simple food items as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers.
    • Take customer orders and operate a cash register.
    • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory.
    • Restock shelves and refrigerators as needed.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • General Maintenance
    • Perform general maintenance tasks as needed, such as sweeping and mopping floors.
    • Keep the coffee shop and surrounding areas clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment
    • Urban area.
    • Relocation costs covered by employer.
