Position Overview
The Community Living Society (CLS) is seeking committed professionals to serve as support specialists. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges to achieve meaningful and autonomous lives. Your duties will encompass aiding with personal goals, providing home assistance, facilitating community engagement, and documenting progress.
Position Details:
Support Specialist - Permanent Part Time
- Wednesday 8:00am-2:30pm
- Friday 8:00am-2:30pm
- Sunday 10:00am-7:00pm
Qualifications:
- Capability to assist with wheelchair mobility
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Clear background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous relevant experience
- Training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
- Familiarity with the Mandt System
- Understanding of Person-Centered Active Supports
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
