Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Elite Auto & Glass Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Review work orders and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Road test motor vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent mechanical issues.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the art of automotive repair.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
