Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring accurate and timely results. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpack, sort, check, crush, and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment
  • Safely follow standard operating procedures and perform quality control checks as required
  • Enter sample data into computer systems, ensuring accurate details

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Fork Lift certification/license is an asset
  • Ability to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis
  • Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a mature work ethic
  • Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management
  • Commitment to the production of accurate and timely results
  • Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE properly and follow all safety protocols
  • Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends, on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
