Job Summary
The Senior Business Information Management Specialist is a key role within TD Wealth Management, responsible for leading the development and implementation of data management solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of business processes and data governance principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of data management standards and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data management requirements
- Provide guidance on applying data governance principles and best practices
- Work with data owners to define and manage data dictionaries and catalogs
- Implement and maintain Enterprise Data Governance policies and procedures
- Provide thought leadership and insights on emerging data information management solutions
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (e.g. engineering, data science, computer science)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, and/or data quality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and data concepts
