Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to manage transactions and provide exceptional customer service at 2635469 Ontario INC. This role involves handling cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Efficiently manage the cash register and process various payment methods.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately scan items and tabulate total payments for goods or services.
  • Payment Handling: Receive and process payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Daily Reconciliation: Calculate and reconcile daily payments received with total sales.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries.
  • Store Maintenance: Stock shelves and maintain cleanliness in the counter area.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor entrances and exits, verifying proof of payment when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Work Environment

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to stand for extended periods. Physical capabilities include bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary.
