About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. The successful candidate will contribute to the safe and effective operation of our facilities by providing a full range of services relating to maintenance and project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all maintenance functions are completed in accordance with legislation, established standards, and policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Power Engineer 4th Class required.
  • Five (5) years' experience in plant operations.
  • Knowledge of building code standards and OH&S.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
