About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Les Entreprises L. & C. Jolibois Inc. as a Mechanical Repair Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Estimate and Provide Quotes: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Coach and Train Apprentices: Share your expertise and coach apprentices to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
