About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Courier Guys. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and safety.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered, and ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local, regional, provincial/territorial, and national transportation experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
