Job Summary

We are hiring a Cashier for our store As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service at the checkouts and accurately recording customer transactions in electronic cash registers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Accurately process customer transactions and handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the checkout area and surrounding areas.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and squat, and lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs).

Work Schedule

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.

  • Stand and/or walk.

  • Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
  • Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
