Position: Fullstack C# Developer Consultant

As a Fullstack Developer Consultant, you will engage in the development of a sophisticated web service and Angular application that facilitates client transactions within the Canadian financial markets while ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting.

  • Design and implement new functionalities, make architectural decisions, execute testing protocols, uphold quality standards, and generate comprehensive documentation.
  • Communicate features effectively to stakeholders and product owners to ensure a thorough understanding of business requirements.
  • Contribute to Agile practices, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and feature demonstrations.
  • Ensure software delivery aligns with established standards.
  • Offer operational assistance as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, particularly within intricate information system frameworks. Experience in corporate or investment banking is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with C# - .NET Core and SQL - SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Angular is a beneficial addition.
  • Understanding of design patterns.
  • Proficient in Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Capability to navigate complex information systems.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance concepts (such as stock markets, interest rates, derivatives) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, methodological, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
