Job Title: Mechanical Software Developer

Job Description Summary:
  • Analyze client workflows and requirements to suggest optimal solutions and best practices.
  • Design, develop, and implement new software features.
  • Support and enhance existing software products while addressing client inquiries.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests and recommend code improvements for identified issues.
  • Thoroughly document all development activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, aerospace), computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in C++ programming with a focus on object-oriented design.
  • At least 2 years of experience with commercial solvers such as Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, or LS-DYNA.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Assets:
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools and engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems and project management software.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, Python, or Perl.
  • Self-driven and proactive individual.
