Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Rakesh Majithia CPA Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, supervising staff, and training them to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Supervise staff and train them to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop financial plans for clients and prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and analyze financial documents and reports.
  • Examine accounting records and provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel.
