Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Hearthstone Inn - Port Hawkesbury. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and draft beer systems.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, and beer.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff and patrons, and collect payment.
  • Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Train staff and provide recommendations on drink selections.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and positive attitude.
Work Environment:

Our bar is a fast-paced environment where you will be standing for extended periods. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
