About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson/Journeyman (Red Seal) to join our team at Kal Tire in Truro, NS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general mechanical work, including routine maintenance and intricate repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a mechanical program, including mentoring apprentices and nurturing the future generation of mechanics.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales team to identify potential mechanical opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Certification as an Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson/Journeyman (Red Seal).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects.
