Job Title: Educational Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Assistant to join our team at The Wolf Creek School Division.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to students with complex needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and social/emotional/behavioural and academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as organization and time management
  • Support students in academic and behavioral settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
