We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Private Enterprise Core Services team at KPMG-Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing financial services to our clients, including compilation and review engagements, tax returns, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compilation and review engagements for private enterprise clients.
- Prepare year-end adjusting entries and bookkeeping, as required.
- Prepare corporate, personal, and other tax returns for clients.
- Lead field engagement teams and coach and mentor junior staff members.
- Perform analysis of complex accounting issues and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service.
- Accounting or business degree or diploma.
- 2-3 years post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm.
- General understanding of the Accounting Cycle, General Ledgers, and Account Posting.
- Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with accounting and tax software.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions.
- Excellent client service skills and ability to maintain strong client relationships.
