Civil Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Technologist to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our Civil Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Execute technical procedures and work plans in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and contract specifications.
- Generate deliverable documentation, including technical reports, site reviews, and letters, summaries, data sheets, graphs, and qualification packages.
- Interact with contractors and subcontractors, presenting and discussing outcomes with project teams.
- Assist engineers and project managers with project execution during all project phases.
- Perform site reviews, gather data, and prepare reports under the direction of the project manager related to structural, building envelope, and roofing components.
- Aid in generating deliverable documentation for structural, building envelope, and roofing projects, requiring accuracy in calculations, information, and completeness of data.
- Provide design sketches and coordinate work with other engineering departments during the design development stage.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
- 0-5 years' experience in a related field.
- Registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK) or eligibility for registration.
- Solid background or interest in Water Resource, Municipal, and/or Transportation sectors.
- Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD is considered an asset.
- Survey experience is also considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Aptitude for general construction methods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
