Role Overview

The role of Traffic Control is crucial within our operational sites. A solid understanding of traffic safety protocols, traffic management, and control measures is essential for success in this position. A valid Class 5 License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the public in a professional and respectful manner
  • Safely manage vehicular, pedestrian, and construction traffic through the work area
  • Ensure the work zone is free from potential hazards before and after the setup of initial signage
  • Assist in the establishment and dismantling of work zones, including the placement of signs, barricades, and delineators
  • Be prepared for a flexible work schedule, which may include overtime, weekend, and out-of-town assignments as necessary during the construction season
  • Adhere to safe working procedures and practices
  • Perform additional duties as required
