Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Director to lead our dairy processing operations at Agropur's Don Mills facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute effective short-term and medium-term production plans in collaboration with the Production Planning Manager.
- Manage production operations to ensure sustainable cost competitiveness and customer service.
- Ensure finished products meet safety, quality, environmental, and manufacturing standards.
- Deliver short-term and long-term KPIs related to PQCDSME.
- Lead a large team across all shifts, including headcount planning, resource allocation, and discipline.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement and zero losses.
- Collaborate with Operation Effectiveness teams and pillar owners to deliver the site's lean manufacturing roadmap.
- Effectively lead and motivate a team through proactive communications, employee involvement, and participation.
- Build a culture that embraces lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Drive organizational change using change management principles.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive manufacturing experience in the food or consumer goods industry.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading a team in a production environment.
- Proven track record of delivery and change management in a complex manufacturing site.
- Extensive experience leading and implementing lean manufacturing.
- Dynamic leader experienced with operating in a unionized site.
- Ability to balance short-term operational delivery with tactical and strategic thinking.
