About the Role

Questrade Financial Group (QFG) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal, Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies, including cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions, including cloud-native applications, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud infrastructure aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and recommend new technologies and approaches to improve cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, including significant experience in a leadership or advisory role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive cloud strategies for large organizations.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects.
  • Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into strategic solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor senior technical teams and influence executive stakeholders.
