CNC Machining Specialist

Become a vital part of our team at ALMAG as a CNC Machining Specialist. In this role, you will be tasked with the efficient organization and configuration of manufacturing machinery to create high-quality products in accordance with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently set up and operate CNC and related machinery within the Fabrication Department while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Modify machining programs as necessary to meet production requirements.
  • Produce components based on detailed Fabrication Drawings.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Adhere to work order specifications and packaging guidelines.
  • Verify the accuracy of materials and work order information prior to commencing production.
  • Report any machinery malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure timely completion of production orders.
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards and policies.
  • Operate a forklift, provided certification is obtained.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma coupled with relevant experience in production.
  • Some formal education in CNC technology.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in CNC Set-Up or Machine Operation.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Ability to foster teamwork and motivate peers.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and utilize measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and associated equipment.
  • Experience with Epics software is advantageous.
  • A forklift license is beneficial.
