About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize sales systems and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance, and incentive programs.
  • Project a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Work effectively without supervision and attend factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes as scheduled by management.
  • Answer customer service phone calls and ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
  • Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle's delivery and inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up.
  • Keep abreast of new equipment, features, and tools available and recommend purchases.
  • Account for all documents and ensure that none are missing.
  • Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding late vehicle deliveries and comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times and comply with all company policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Automotive sales experience is preferred.
  • OMVIC Certification is required.
  • Dealer CRM system experience is required.
  • Must have a valid Class 'G' Ontario driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and ability to be flexible under changing conditions.
  • Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating and exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Well-spoken, friendly, and articulate and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
