About the Role
As a Physiotherapist in our ICU Weekend position, you will work with an interdisciplinary team to optimize the mobility of our patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and education
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct patient education and provide guidance on self-management techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Registered Physiotherapist with a strong background in physical therapy and experience working in an acute care setting. You will also need to be comfortable with technology and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
