Join our team at DESI BAR & GRILL as a Food Service Supervisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of our restaurant staff. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
