Job Overview

P & G Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in concrete finishing and demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Inspection: Assess formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Concrete Placement: Oversee the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces, adhering to specified grades.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate tenders and quotations for concrete projects.
  • Surface Leveling: Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth requirements.
  • Finishing Techniques: Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Installation: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as needed.
  • Repair Work: Conduct repairs, resurfacing, and replacement of damaged concrete structures.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to guide work.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in concrete finishing.

  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
