Cascades is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion. As a key member of our Containerboard Packaging Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a business strategy that aligns with our company's vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business strategy that supports the company's vision and objectives;
  • Establish and maintain a healthy and safe work environment for all employees, promoting sound health management and OHS priorities;
  • Maximize operational efficiency and ensure value for money;
  • Implement standardized best practices in all areas of the unit's activities;
  • Establish performance standards and lead weekly team meetings to analyze KPIs and discuss action plans;
  • Support the implementation of optimization projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management, or a related field;
  • 10-15 years of experience in management and manufacturing;
  • Ability to guide and coach team members;
  • Leadership and collaborative spirit to inspire and mobilize teams;
  • Ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions that enhance their experience;
  • Discernment to ensure effective follow-up and implementation of solutions;
  • Excellent communication skills, tact, and political acumen;
  • Ability to build and sustain a customer-focused culture;
  • Fluency in both French and English.
