Position Overview

GoGeomatics is on the lookout for a skilled Full Stack Developer specializing in GIS applications. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to delivering exceptional results. You will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on developing innovative solutions within the GIS domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and enhance GIS functionalities within various systems and applications.
  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Estimate development timelines and adhere to project schedules using Agile methodologies.
  • Utilize leading technologies such as ESRI, VertiGIS/Geocortex, and FME to build robust solutions.
  • Develop applications for both Desktop and Web platforms using a variety of programming languages including C#, VB.Net, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of GIS applications to ensure high performance and usability.
  • Collaborate across teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to final documentation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in GIS technologies and development practices to incorporate into new projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in GIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS development.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within Agile or DevOps frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, along with effective communication abilities.
  • A proven track record as an innovative team player, adaptable to changing priorities.
