We are seeking an experienced and motivated Back-End Developer (Java) with expertise in Spring Boot to become a vital part of our dynamic team. You will possess a solid foundation in Java programming and extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework. This role involves developing high-quality applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient and robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications utilizing Spring Boot. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements and specifications. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery. Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Over 2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Understanding and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Adherence to security best practices in software development. Development and integration of RESTful APIs. Proficiency in database technologies, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Use of version control systems, with a focus on GitHub. Application of Agile methodologies in project management. Experience in Python programming. Background in the e-commerce or finance domains.

We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.
