About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Radiation Therapy Equipment: You will be responsible for operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatment to patients.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nurses, to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide Patient Care: You will provide high-quality patient care, including education, support, and monitoring of patients receiving radiation therapy.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment, including radiation therapy plans, dosimetry, and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in radiation therapy is an asset.
  • Certifications: Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists is required.
  • Security Clearance: A criminal record check is required.
