Job Summary

A & L Farms is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes, fixtures, and appliances that are connected to water and gas systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing to meet the needs of our farm.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges to ensure a safe and reliable water supply.
  • Estimation and Measurement: Estimate costs and materials required for pipe installation and measurement, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in plumbing is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Hours: 36 hours per week.
