About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Aurora North Medical Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment and Treatment Planning

You will conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and pain, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.

Massage Therapy Services

You will administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.

Communication and Education

You will clearly explain treatment plans, risks, and benefits to clients, and provide them with information on self-care techniques to promote ongoing wellness.

Record Keeping and Documentation

You will maintain accurate records of treatments provided, including client progress and any relevant notes.

Requirements
  • Certification and Qualifications

You must be certified by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.

Personal Qualities

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Experience

Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
