Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of software development and deployment across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Develop testing strategies, plans, scripts, and cases, while selecting appropriate testing tools and identifying necessary resources.
  • Conduct essential requirements gathering and perform business process analysis.
  • Organize and plan testing efforts for large systems in both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-GUI environments, including executing systems, integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
  • Collaborate with project teams in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of required systems.
  • Evaluate user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
  • Respond to client inquiries to address software-related issues and needs.
  • Continuously enhance personal IT knowledge and skills.
  • Identify and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Provide necessary support and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role or similar.
  • A positive attitude towards learning new technologies and products.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of software architecture.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and executing testing efforts.
  • Familiarity with structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience with Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and data query tools for test case development.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and version control systems across various platforms.
  • Experience in executing functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems integration tests.
  • Participation in user acceptance testing and related activities.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience in creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data for various testing types and phases.
  • Knowledge of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; organizational and creative abilities; and effective communication skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines as a team player.
  • Familiarity with one or more automated testing tools.
