We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our team of cardiologists and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients with internal medicine conditions and manage care plans.
- Round on patients daily, consult with the attending cardiologist, and provide orders and advice to nursing staff regarding ongoing care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other academic activities, as desired.
- MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Member of or eligible for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
- Bilingual (French/English) candidates preferred.
