Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meal assistance.
- Facilitate social, spiritual, and intellectual engagement for residents.
- Support residents in scheduling and attending medical appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, adhering to established policies and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding resident care and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Completion of relevant post-secondary education.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening.
- Previous training in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care is advantageous.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Genuine passion for healthcare and commitment to providing quality care for seniors.
