We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Peter's Residence. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Promote a positive and supportive team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Care or delegate.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development.
