Position Overview:

The Lead Consultant for Information Security Management will be instrumental in steering client projects and managing the complete consulting delivery process. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary liaison for client engagements, fostering a cooperative team atmosphere and ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Offer strategic insights, mentorship, and assistance to the consulting team, cultivating a culture of excellence, ongoing learning, and professional growth.
  3. Perform thorough evaluations of clients' current information security frameworks, policies, and procedures, utilizing your expertise to pinpoint risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance deficiencies.
  4. Design and execute tailored information security strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps that align with clients' specific needs and industry best practices, ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards and are completed within established timelines.
  5. Work closely with client stakeholders to define security goals, risk tolerance levels, and align security initiatives with business objectives, maintaining a strong focus on project schedules and effective time management.
  6. Oversee the creation and implementation of security controls, technologies, and processes, ensuring they effectively address identified risks while committing to delivering superior results on time.
  7. Provide expertise on incident response and recovery, including the formulation of incident management plans, playbooks, and training materials, while efficiently managing allocated time and project timelines.
  8. Conduct security awareness training sessions and workshops, sharing best practices, emerging threat knowledge, and fostering a security-centric culture within client organizations, while demonstrating effective time management skills.
  9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, proactively managing time to enhance our security consulting services and guide the consulting team accordingly.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to improve information security service offerings, methodologies, and tools, ensuring they adhere to the highest quality standards and align with project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience as a management consultant is essential. This experience is critical for qualifying under the NAFTA/USMCA agreement as a Management Consultant.
  • Experience in the legal sector is highly preferred.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. under the TN visa program, which necessitates Canadian citizenship. Previous successful TN visa sponsorship is a significant advantage, demonstrating proven eligibility and familiarity with the visa process.

Certifications:

For the Lead Consultant for Information Security Management position, candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications:

  1. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  2. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  3. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  4. Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  5. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

  7. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  8. Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  9. Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE)
  10. GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  11. Project Management Professional (PMP)
  12. CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute), or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
