About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laborer - Mineral and Metal Processing Specialist to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant, utilizing forklifts and dollies as needed.
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Open valves and start pumps, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Load and unload vehicles, utilizing forklifts and dollies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shape or design, producing a smooth finish.
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high-quality results.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in mineral ore and metal processing.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with additional training or certifications in a related field an asset.
  • Excellent physical stamina, with ability to lift heavy loads (over 45 kg/100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
