Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and blueprints for construction projects
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials for building and repairing structures
  • Assemble and install materials, including wood, steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Work Environment:

As a Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
