What is the Opportunity?

The Royal Bank of Canada is a leading financial institution committed to delivering exceptional client experiences through a personalized approach. As a Strategic Business Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the Investment Management Operations and Wealth Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic recommendations and solutions to support the Wealth Management team
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, including agenda planning and documentation preparation
  • Attend client meetings and execute post-meeting follow-up
  • Support trading and portfolio rebalancing activities
  • Deliver proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with various departments to execute tasks and provide administrative support to the advisory team
  • Contribute to new client acquisition efforts and respond to client account inquiries
  • Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans
  • Identify and execute opportunities for asset consolidation, referrals, and client growth
  • Co-manage the client acquisition pipeline and work with the advisory team to close new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs)
  • Maintain an audit of Wealth Management activities and priorities

Requirements:

  • Completion of the CSC and CPH certifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills working with business applications and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC
  • 4 years or more of professional experience in the investment industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed client service skills
