As a Resident Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene and care
  • Supporting medical care and executing delegated tasks
  • Ensuring the safety of residents and the facility
  • Providing assistance during emergencies and crises
  • Carrying out housekeeping, tidying, and laundry duties
  • Collaborating effectively with the care team
  • Performing other related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent certification
  • Training in accordance with Loi 90
  • Current first aid and PDSB certifications
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience and excellent listening abilities
