Cupid's Gourmet Cupcakes Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Production Supervisor to oversee the production of baked goods in our busy bake shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bakery operations and a proven track record of leading a team to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train bakery personnel and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in all baked goods, ensuring they meet the company's quality and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a bakery or food production environment.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment:
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
