Key Responsibilities- Production Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
- Team Supervision
- Supervise a team of 3-4 production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available to meet production demands.
- Implement just-in-time inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize production efficiency.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all production activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance principles and practices.
- Experience with inventory management systems and just-in-time inventory management.
