We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Technician to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of work on all vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and complete repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Advise the Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Road-test vehicles to quality-check work performed, reporting any discrepancies to the Service Manager.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes and stay up-to-date on factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company safety policies and practices.
- Working knowledge of automotive equipment and systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to ensure delivery of high-quality work.
- Self-motivated and organized individual with excellent time management skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with other team members.
- Commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations.
- A valid British Columbia driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Availability to work shift Saturdays.
